Chester Hoist offers a wide array of products for effectively lifting and positioning
loads in diverse environments. Included in our robust offering are:
Primarily designed for those applications where headroom is limited, Chester Electric
Chain Hoists provide years of trouble free operation in a variety of Class III applications.
The units are equipped with worm drive gear reducers, case hardened load chain and
are available in capacities from 1 through 25 tons. Choices of lug mounted, push/pull,
hand geared or motorized trolley drives are available to meet a variety of applications.

Chester Wire Rope Electric Hoists feature worm gear drives for quiet, smooth, reliable
operation. These hoists are available in single hook, twin hook or multiple hook
models for lug, floor, ceiling or trolley mounting. Capacities from 1 to 15 tons
in a variety of configurations are available to provide virtually trouble free operation
in every type of application.

With more configurations than anyone in the industry, the versatility of the Chester
manual hoist offering is second to none. From units specifically designed for low
headroom to hoist/trolley combinations for easy maneuverability, there is a manual
hoist for your job.

The standard pneumatic hoist package includes vane or piston motors and brakes with
modulating valves for infinitely variable hoist motion. Single speed trolley or
tractor motion is standard using vane motors and our standard worm gear reducers.
Standard controls include a two or four lever pendant.

For easy attachment of hoists and for ease of movement, Chester offers a wide range
of plain and geared manually operated trolleys. Primary models feature lifetime
lubricated ball bearings to assure minimal effort is needed for positioning. Additional
models feature embossed steel side plates, providing a high strength to weight ratio.
These side plates are of warp-around design providing a full face bumper.

Chester Tractor Drives deliver greater productivity with existing push-type underhung
crane bridges or push-type monorail hoists by offering motorized travel. Designed
for capacities up to five tons, these units are easy to install without removing
or disturbing existing equipment. Units are available for a variety of capacities,
speeds and runway beams.

Chester Hoist offers an assortment of crane and hoist related components available
to our customers who build cranes or systems for resale or internal use.
Underhung or toprunning crane end truck kits are available for a variety of capacities,
spans and runway beams. Trolley wheel assemblies are available in a wide range of
capacities and tread designs to suite a variety of applications. Chester pocketed
handwheels and guards are available for applications requiring manual operation
of overhead equipment using hand chain. Track clamps are available on most of our
products or they can be adapted to fit other manufacturer's equipment. Besides these
items many of our standard components may be available for incorporation into your
designs.
